The CineRAID ARC-9224S is a high performance 24bay 16Gb Fibre Channel Rack featuring single-upgradable or dual-active (active-active or passive-active) hardware RAID controller/s, designed with the latest advanced 12Gb SAS 3.0 infrastructure and backplane to support the latest 12Gb SATA/SAS Drives. The optional Dual Active-Active controller architecture doubles the available host bandwidth ensuring maximum utilization and throughput. Fail-over protection, If one controller fails, the other controller can transparently take over. Performance and scalability driven, each controller is powered by a dual core RAID-on-Chip (ROC) 1.2Ghz  processor for powerful and proven RAID data storage performance. The high density 24bay chassis supports single or multiple RAID array/s of up to 240 terabytes and fully scalable, allowing you to add additional JBOD expander units supporting up to 256 drives total  for when you need more storage.
