The CineRAID ARC-9216S is a high performance 16bay 12Gb MiniSAS Rack featuring single-upgradable or dual-active (active-active) hardware RAID controllers, designed with the latest 12Gb SAS 3.0 infrastructure. The optional Dual Active-Active controller architecture doubles the available host bandwidth ensuring maximum utilization and throughput. Fail-over protection, If one controller fails, the other controller can transparently take over. Performance and scalability driven, each controller is powered by a dual core RAID-on-Chip (ROC) 1.2Ghz  processor for powerful and proven RAID data storage performance. The high density 16bay chassis supports single or multiple RAID array/s of up to 160 terabytes and fully scalable up to 256 drives by simply daisy-chaining additional expansion storage units for when you need more storage.
